Come celebrate the rich diversity of our Lincoln community at Culture Fest! Host a table and share your culture, cook a favorite dish from your country, or simply join us and connect with your children’s classmates and their families. It will be a special evening celebrating the many cultures that make our community so vibrant.

Each May, the Lincoln School hosts a Read-a-thon fundraiser for all K–8 students. This school-wide reading marathon encourages a love of reading, reduces screen time, and empowers students to support their school by collecting pledges from family, friends, and neighbors. Prizes are awarded to top readers, as well as to the class that logs the most minutes read.

Apart from enhancing the campus with plantings and beautification, the Green Team spearheads all classroom garden projects and this year's erosion prevention efforts on the back hill. The PTO is proud to provide its support.

This year's Musical will be Disney's The Newsies Jr., a play that tells the true story of New York City newsboys striking for fair pay in 1899. Lincoln teachers Beth Greenwood (3G), Adam Weatherwax (Middle School) and Ben Stein (Middle School) make up our exceptional theater team. The play will run this year from Wednesday June 3rd through Saturday June 6th. Buy your tickets as soon as they go on sale, every night will be a sold out performance.

Created by our Lincoln School 8th graders with the assistance of local professional photographer David Leifer and the Art Teacher Basha Goldstein Weiss, these digital self-portraits was made to create impressive works of self-expression.

During Field Day the entire student body came together for a day of fun and community. Middle school students ran activities for younger ones, and everyone got to spend time with members of the Lincoln community they may not see on a daily basis. Popsicles, T-Shirts and Games gently sponsored by Lincoln PTO.

Funds and donations coming from Readathon are generally redirect to support Reading, Books for classrooms and Author Visits organized by our Librarian Ms. Deb Abner. Last school year we had a special visit from the Author/Illustrator of children’s picture books and comics Ruth Chan.

Last year our talented Middle Schoolers did perform the Fall Musical Through the Prop Box and the Spring Musical Frozen Junior directed by Beth Greenwood, Adam Weatherwax and Ben Stein. PTO was happy to sponsor the Fall Musical and support to fund the scripts for Frozen.

Lead by Sarah Pagliaccio and Ben Sommers with teachers and parent volunteer's support, the Green Team takes care of Lincoln Garden with an emphasis on "eating what we grow" in the school garden.

The PTO sponsors so many events throughout the school year- too many list here. We support a grant proposal process for teachers to apply for important funding to enhance their classroom experiences - from school supplies to field trips and guest speakers! We sponsor social events, cultural events, food drives, teacher appreciation campaigns and more. We can't do it without your support. If you are able to give, please consider a donation (any size) to this important cause.

Once again this year, we are thrilled to announce the PTO's continued support for the Raz-Kids Learning A-Z program. This initiative provides essential literacy and science products for students from Kindergarten through 6th grade, empowering our dedicated teachers to enhance children's skills through blended learning approaches.

Lincoln hosted the Bardin-Niskala Duo in March for a powerful presentation followed by sessions with Lincoln students. The Duo uses classical music to explore identity, combat racism, and promote cultural awareness. Thanks to Ms. Toshiko Fell for organizing and to the PTO for sponsoring. Their commitment to diversity through music is inspiring.

In March, all K-5 students thoroughly enjoyed Jerry's silliness and humor, along with insights into his research process and book background. Huge thanks to Ms. Abner for organizing this enriching experience and special shoutout to the PTO for sponsoring!

STEAM Night is an engaging event designed for families to explore the realms of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Held on March 22, families enjoyed an evening packed with interactive activities and demonstrations led by Lincoln students. The event sparked curiosity and encouraged exploration for learners of all ages.
